Bliss

We never leave the borders, bound by broken fences. We are told evil lives beyond them , bad things, danger. But today we are going to uncover this mystery . We will break down the fences that once trapped us from a world we thought never existed.

We walked through the crowed polluted city. You could taste the thickness of the air, as we stopped to catch our breath. The sound of a muffled steam train drew near. It took us a while before we decided to carry on. We walked down an unstable bridge. The adrenalin paralyzed my body. In the distance we saw the silhouette of the fence against the dull sunset. We broke down the fence and walked into unfamiliar territory .

We distiguished what seemed like a bridge, from the ocean blue fog. What was this place? A cool mist encircled our bodies. Excitement , but guilt filled me. The air was less dence, less damaged, less familiar. We trembled towards the bridge, should we do this? We walked down the meandered bridge, the icy breeze from the luminous blue water below the bridge numed out nerves. The further and further we got down the bridge, it seemed to be getting warmer and brighter. The smell of lavinder filled the air. The sun broke through the trees almost as though the light rays were guiding us. To paradise.

As we verged upon the end of the bridge, a bright white light leads us in through an ark, decorated by flowers and moss. A butterfly landed in my hand, magical, impossible?! Where are we? It felt as though this place was awaiting our arrival. The grass was dancing to the melodious tune of the birds fluttering along side us. A white feather dropped onto the earth, I ran up to get a closer look. I grab it and as I look up I see a waterfall, with the bluest water, that you couldn’t even begin to imagine.
